Hey everyone!

Let’s talk about pocket pairs in poker

Obviously AA is the dream and KK is solid but once you’re past the top few hands things get interesting 🤠

 

Some people love mid pairs like 99 or 88 for set mining. Others like small pairs like 22–66 for cheap flops and surprise value.
And then there’s always the question of how aggressive you play them preflop

 

So here’s what I’d love to know:

1. What’s your favorite pocket pair to play and why
2. How do you usually play it preflop
3. Do you treat small and medium pairs differently depending on the table

A bit offtopic, but one the best hands ever - AK, covers all top-pairs and gives you wings to bluff aggresively
